  1. My favorite part of the novel is when Howard first saw Molly across the street with a fire mans hat on. The reason why I like this part is that it was funny how Molly sprayed her cat with a hose andd then told Howard's dad her cat's fur was on fire and she saved her cat by spraying her. I also liked that she actually turned on the hose and her imagination told her to spray her cat. I also liked the part when she climed around Howard's car and Howard and his dad found her in there dog's cage. That is when she told them how she saved her cat. I also want to tell you that Molly has a very strong imagination and is very crazy. I think that part was really funny and I want to read more about Molly.

  4. My faforite part in the Kid in the Red Jacket was when Molly was walking to school with Howard and she was yelling stuff at him when he was running. The reason why it was my favorite part because when Howard was running Molly yelled do you need to go potty.I think it was funny. Other kids started smiling and almost laughing. Then Howard got so embarrased and she said do you think anyone heard and Hoard said YES everyone heard. Also it was funny because Molly didn'd even know what she did wrong and it was pretty loud. That is why this part is my favorite.

My favorite part was when Howard found out that the name of his street was Cheaster Pewe Even though he was embarrassed by his street name, he decided to write to Thorns Berry and Rogers anyway. He told Thorns Berry to tell the kid with the Kenneth shirt "hi". When Howard realized that being the new kid at school was hard, he knew what the kid in the Kenneth shirt felt like. That was one of my favorite parts in The Kid in the Red Jacket.

  10. My favorite part of the book was when Howard first saw Molly. I liked it because you could tell a lot about Molly when he first met her because she climbed on top of the car. Howard's first impression of her was that she was crazy. I liked how excited she was about everything. It was funny also because she called him the wrong name over and over just because she thought it sounded better. This whole scene made me smile when I was reading it and that's why it's my favorite part.

I thought that was pretty funny because he was yelling doggie dead even thought he was not dead.So I also thought when Molly jumped on Howard's car was funny too. And my most favorite part between the two is when the kid yells doggie dead doggie dead. So that is my favorite seen in The Kid in The Red Jacket.

I thought that all the parts with Molly were pretty funny. I liked it when Molly says something that makes you want to laugh. I also liked it when Howard made friends, Pete and Ollie. I thought it was nice to have a friend invite you to a game so I liked that part too. When Howard got invited to the game,Molly beged to go. It was funny when Molly made up silly cheers for the football game. I also liked the jokes and funny things Howard would say. So those were my favorite scenes in the book.

  14. What I liked about the kid in the red jacket is when Howard makes a big move from Arizona to Massachusetts. This little6 year old girl name Molly, Howard thought was kind of weird. Once Molly hung with the new neighbor, Howard, he did not want to play with Molly. She was crazy. Then Howard goes to school nobody knows Howard so they stared at him, At the end of lunch he didn’t throw his lunch in the trash, even though their was a big can with a smiley face on the can. He just left it on the table. The teacher yelled at Howard because he did not throw away his trash. At the end of the day, Howard was so mad and sad. The next day Howard made two new friends, Ollie and Pete. Pete was quiet and nice, Ollie was a wise guy, funny, and loud. For recess Pete picked Howard to play soccer. When Howard got home, he was happy that he made two new friends.
