  2. The time I had to be brave was a time I had to go to the dentist. They had to do something to my mouth. I was really scared, but I knew I had to be brave. So I kept on telling myself not to be scared. Later when I stoped thinking about it I felt better. That was the time I had to be brave.

  4. One time I had to be brave was when I had to go on a scary roller coaster. My brother made me go. We were in line people were screaming. If I didn't see them I would think that they were getting eaten alive by a giant monster. We finally got on and I was as scared as I was at my first triathlon. We went up a giant hill oh no here comes a tree I closed my eyes... the coaster jerked out of the way. Also I think it had 100,000,000,000 loops. The roller coaster ended and I was dizzy.

  5. The very first time i had to be brave was in my third grade talent show. I had to go up on the stage and sing a song in front of the whole school plus parents. It was really scary.I was so nervous that i had serious butterflies in my stomach. After that night ended i realized that everyone loved my singing. It took me a week for it to come to my senses that it was totally worth it, and all i had to do was be brave. From that moment on i was never afraid to sing for the school again. That is how i overcame my fear of singing and became a brave and non- scared person.

I was brave at my first ever gymnastics meet. I was the only person on my team who hadn’t competed before. I was only 8. At first I did not want to go. My mom comforted me so I decided to be brave and go. It turns out I got 9.00s on every event. I have always wanted to go to a gymnastics meet since.

  7. One time I had to be brave was when my uncle wanted me to go on a roller coaster. It was the scariest one in the park. It was scary because before I went I could hear people screaming. My uncle said he would come too. We had to wait for a while. On the way up it was not scary. Then they dropped you down. At the end I was happy I went.

  8. Once in in India we went to a well to swim with our cousins. The water was really low. When we were swimming the adults told us to jump.We only jumped from the lower ledge but the adults told us we would get money if we jumped from the highest ledge. It was a drop of 45 feet! When I was going to jump my older cousin started coming up.I jumped because I knew she would push me.

  9. When I went to Kennywood Amusement Park, my Mom and some of my friends went on a rollercoaster called The Sky Rocket.
While we were standing in line, you could hear the other people on the ride screaming. When we finally got up to the ride, and it was my turn to get on, I was really nervous, and uneasy. When we took the first turn, we shot up like a rocket, I was so scared. After that I was fine and was having so much fun. All I could think about was riding it again.

  10. I had to be brave when I moved from New Jersey to Georgia. I was in the middle of the year and and I wanted to graduate 5th grade at my old school. It was scary not knowing anyone. When I started school, it was scary also but I got to know people and it wasn't as scary anymore. Now I am really happy in my new house and school!!

  12. The time when i was really scared was when I was flying 9 hours all the way to Frankfurt, Germany! I'm usually not afraid of flying planes but, after a long time I have to fly 9 hours across the Atlantic Ocean. I wasn't scared at first but, after a while, watching movies, drawing, and reading books, I felt a shake, not light, a shake that was going DOWN!!!! I felt a little sick but, when I put my head down on the pillow i felt like we were actually going down. I was squished in the middle idle, on a shaky airplane, while feeling sick! The worst part was that I had like 4 more hours to go! MAN! I'm just glad that we landed safely. That was a scary ride!

  13. I was scared from getting shots, it scared me to think that people would be sticking a needle into your body. This has happened to me before when ever I get a shot I would usually sit down sniffling (like every time I go to the docters)and hope for the best. It aslo made me feel even worse sice I could see what would happen to me the next time I get a shot that would happen to me. So when I went to the docters next time when I got my shot, I realized there is nothing to it! So now im not afraid to go to the docters anymore!

  14. The time that I had to be brave was when I first ever got got shots some place that had nothing to do with my arms and hands, I had to have shots in my MOUTH! I mean doesn't that hurt. Usually, just by getting a shot in the arm hurts, then shouldn't the MOUTH hurt more? I was so scared that I finally thought I had to be brave. I kept thinking about good things the entire time. Before I even knew it, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I found myself in bed at with my alarm clock saying 2:30. The next day, somehow, I was able to got to school. That was my experience of being brave!

I wanted to go so badly but when I got there I wanted to leave.I said "I mut go on there to be brave". And I sort of fail because I am afaid of hegiet. My mom told me to go on it and so I did and be brave.
I started to panic and wanted to get off that scary ride . After two or one minutes, I stared to like it and have wonderful time of my life.

  16. When we were at 6 Flags and my brother, dad, and mom all wanted to go on the Aerican scream machine and I was really scared of it because it was wooden and it creaked whan the rollar coaster went over the lake. So once we got to the front of the line the other coaster was coming so other people could get off and we could get on through out my family and my cousin I was last in line of them, so every one had a person to sit with BUT ME. My mom said to wait for the next one and she would go with me, but I refused. I mean right when I get the guts to go on the ride they make me wait, UGH. Through all of that I had to sit with some that I had no clue who they were and we had to sit in the back where it really hurts, after that I went on again and again! And the guy I was sitting next to had a season pass and took us to all the rides and we didnt have to wait in line! Over all we had a great time except for the way the day strated. :(
AMERICAN SCREAM MACHINE I WILL GET U BACK!!!!

    1. The time I have to be brave was when I went the first time with my friend to horseback riding. I was afraid that I would fall off the horse. When I got on I felt like freaking out when we finally got on the horse. However I told myself to be brave. I couldn’t let my friend down. I already went this far. It was actually very fun, and I had a great time. I wish that I could do horseback riding again. That was the time I had to be brave.
