We are already into our second week of school. Can you believe it? Tell us what you like the most about fifth grade so far. Please write at least 5-6 sentences and make sure you have a topic sentence and closing.
Our favorite thing about fifth grade is our amazing class. We feel so lucky to have such wonderful students!

My favorite thing about 5th grade is doing all thouse S.S. scavenger hunts In the book and online. And thats my favorite thing about 5th grade.
ReplyDeleteThere are severalthings I love about fifth grade so far,but I'll tell you one of the best. It is my teachers.I have the best teachers in the fifth grade.They give us special privledges.Every day Mr. Jennings will read us a little bit of "the Island.We also do lots of fun worksheets and activites. And that is what I like best about fifth grade.

But my favorite one is, my teachers are super nice and I love having 2 teachers, I havnt had 2 since kindergarden!
They are super amazing, and I used to think 5th grade would be the worst year but it turns out, it might be the best year yet!
My favorite thing about fifth grade is after lunch when Mr. Jennings reads a part of the Island book. I can't wait to hear the end! That's my favorite thing about fifth grade
ReplyDeleteThere are many things I like about fifth grade. One of them are my teachers. They are so nice and they do lots of fun things. Another thing I like are my two best friends. They are the nicest friends you could ever have. That is what I like about fifth grade so far.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about fifth so far is art class. Because I love to draw alot. It's really fun when you do creative things like a pop up card. Another thging I like is when Mr.Jennings reads Island. When he reads the book it's really exciting because you wonder whats going to happen. This are my favorite things about fifth grade so far.
ReplyDeleteThere are several things I like about fifth grade. I also love "The Island" book. Ms. Mastronardi and Mr. Jennings are very nice and they make learning lots of fun. My classmates seem very nice. Fifth grade has been a blast so far, can't wait to see what happens next.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, there's SO many reasons why I like fifth grade. Just by the 2nd week of school, I LOVE it! At first, I was a little uneasy about fifth grade but it turns out to be a blast! So, I like when we read the Island book because now I won't ever want to miss a day of school! I also enjoy how we sometimes watch BrainPop videos. Plus for the first time ever, I'm actually enjoying Social Studies for no reason!!! I also enjoy recess when I can go outside with my friends and play. So far, I'm loving fifth grade.

ReplyDeleteThing I love the most is math because it easy and simple to do.
The second thing I is choice time because I could do my homework earlier so that I won't have to do them at home.
But the worst thing ever is art because it's hard to understand what's Ms.Andrew saying.
And those are my opinion about school
I have tons of favorite That I like things in fith grade. The first one is I love the story were reading. I want to see what happpens in the end so badly. I also like my teachers. They are really nice. In scool I like what were learning about in math and reading. That is what I like this year.
ReplyDeleteA couple of reasons why I love about fifth grades far is my teachers and math! I just love math! It's my favorite subject. Plus, am getting very good grades! Also, fifth grade is my dream. I get to go to middle school next year, I got tag tested, we get to go to Rock Eagle, and I am in advanced math and reading since the middle of fourth grade!
ReplyDeleteI try so hard in school and hope I can succeed. My teachers are very smart and cool and I am just LOVING FIFTH GRADE! It is so much better than fourth grade. Well, that's all for now.
The thing I like most is my social studies class. I love learning about the civil war. It is very interesting. I am looking forward to knowing more about it. I am also very excited about math. I love math! We get to do all types of fractions and learn new rules about decimals.

Also I like the math. I like doing place value and decimals. The book we are reading called the 'Island' is so interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next!
ReplyDeleteThe first 2 weeks are going great so far. I am having so much FUN.I like how MR.Jennings reads books to the class. I am enjoying the book Island. The teachers make class fun.I like choice time and having been able to to get candy from the candy jar.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that I liked about 5th grade is that it is almost as fun and easy as kindergarten and 1st grade. The subjects that I like so far are math, language arts, reading. There is just one thing that I wish that was changed. I wish TAG started at the beginning of the year on every Wednesday. These are the things that I like about 5th grade so far!
ReplyDeleteSo far I love is the island book we're reading. It's just like the Everest books that Mr. Jennings read last year. Those books are great, and so are the island. I also like history, I S. S like too much I stay up to 10:00 reading the whole S. S book. From this start, I'm going to have a blast this year!!!
ReplyDelete5th grade is great so far. My favorite time of the day is when lunch starts because lunch is fun. Then, Mr. Jennings reads Island and then we have recess. My perspective of the day is to make it to lunch and you survive.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite things this year are my teachers and writing Who am I? I like who am I because I love to draw and write. I like my teachers beacause they are so nince and understanding, but I don't like the YANKEES!
ReplyDeleteI liked reading the best. We have read some really cool stories like "The Hot and Cold Summer" and "Sees Behind Trees". Those were really cool stories to me. Reading is really fun to me, so I can't wait for the next fantastic story in the book! It's really fun to hear the cool story lines and all the details. We have math and social studies. They are not my favorite but Miss Mastronardi and Mr. Jennings make the subjects fun.
ReplyDeleteI am liking that I got the teachers that I wanted. I like that I had Miss Mastronardi in second grade. I also like that she does treasure box and gives candy to the winning groups. I like Mr. Jennings because he is funny and reads to us. A good thing about the class is I have a friend in this class. That's what I like about 5th grade.

4. I was suspicious when my mom took a phone call with an agent.

For Thanksgiving break my family was planning to go to a friend house in North Carolina but since my dad was busy we didn’t go. I stay home for all Thanksgiving break as well. However on thanksgiving I was invited to my dad’s boss house. They had a seven years old daughter, and I found something we had in same: we both like to read books! She didn’t read picture books either, but she read chapter books. She had a collection of books I haven’t read until I was in 3rd grade. She basally has a book in her nose all the time. After that was over we went to another party, with violence in it. We went home at midnight. It was a great Thanksgiving!
