Mr. Jennings and I hope you have enjoyed your first week back to school. We are very excited to have a fun and educational year with all of you!
Write a paragraph telling us what you are most looking forward to in fifth grade this year. Make sure you proofread your work.

I'm looking foward to two things. The first one is RockEagle. I just can't wait because we get to go to so many places. The second one is the fifth grade jam. I can't wait because we get to dance. Once I got to go in there and I saw fifth graders eating popcorn and they were also danceing. so I'm really looking foward to both of this things.

ReplyDeleteFifth grade rocks! THere are so many things I'm excited for,but I'll narrow it down to my top two. 1#Rock Eagle:My older sister went to Rock Eagle and told me it was awesome.I go to camp alot,but only have camped in cabins once. I bet all my friends will be there!(bonus!:) 2#The Fifth Grade Jam:A big dance party where you and your friends dance.Now who wouln't be excited for that?

ReplyDeleteWhat I look forward to, I love making friends, and seeking the new adventures that a wait me in 5th grade!
So far its been great ive gotten to meet the new people in my class, and all this was in less then a week!
Well since the school year just started I dont have much to talk about so bye!!!
If someone asked me all of the things that I am looking foward to in fifth grade the list would be endless. So I am just going to tell you two of them.
ReplyDeleteI am looking foward to Rock Eagle this year. The fifth graders on my bus last year told me that rock eagle was amazing. ( I think they just said that because the fudge is amazing.) I want to go canoeing,and saw a tree in half. ;)
Another thing I am looking foward to is the fifth grade jam. It is the final celebration all the fifth graders do before they go to middle school besides the fifth grade walk. It is going to be fun, but it is also going to be sad because they are going to show the fifth grade video there.
Well, now you know two things I am looking foward to this year. What are you looking forward to.

ReplyDeleteHear are the things that I can't wait to do. I want to go to Rock Eagle and beat Mr.Jennings in cannoe racing. I can't wait to learn about World War 2. I'm looking forward to 5th Grade Week. And I'm realy excited that this year in T.a.g I'm going to get to disect a shark. These are the things I can't wait to do during my 5th grade year.
ReplyDeleteIn 5th grade I am looking forward for two main things. 1# I am really looking forward to the trip to RockEagle. My sister went and she said it was lots of fun. I also love nature so the trip would be good for me. 2# I am looking forward to sience. I hope we do lots of fun projects in sience. I just love sience. There are alot more things that I am looking forward to but those are the main things.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to go to Rock Eagle.I have never went there before and I have heared from older classes talk about how much fun it is. I wonder if we will have S'mores! I've heared there is hiking and canoeing. I'm excited about Rock Eagle.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm looking forward to do this school year is Rock Eagle, because it's like a vacation except it's only for about two days and the whole fifth grade is going to be with me. Something else that I'm looking forward to is that though I don't know what the fifth grade jam is, but just from hearing about it looks like fun. Last but not least, I can't wait for TAG!! TAG is one thing that is on my top list of what is my most favorite thing at school. I also know that we can disect something at TAG! I'm so psyched for this year!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Miss Mastronardi and Mr.Jennings fifth Grade Class. This year in Miss Mastronardi's class I'm looking forward to the Indians Unit, and the Geography Unit and Rock Eagle. I just love all the swamps,the Mountains, the valleys and all the cool way's of the Indians.Plus all the sixth graders loved Rock eagle. I'm so psyched to be in Miss Mastronardi and Mr.Jennings fifth grade class.

I'm looking forward to Rock Eagle and spending time with all my friends. It will be like a vacation with tons of friends. Also i'm looking forward to the 5th grade jam and the 5th grade walk. I'm am soooooo excited for this year!!!!! : (P.S. this year is going to be great and plus we have best teachers)

There is 3 things that I am looking forward to this year. The first thing is THE ROCK EAGLE FIELD TRIP!!!! I never been camping before and I heard it is very fun. You also get to explore new things and have an amazing time with your classmates. The second thing that I am looking forward to is the fifth grade walk. I really want to walk down the hallways and wear a graduation outfit!! Last but not least, The fifth grade jam. It's like a goodbye party to me. You say goodbye to all the teachers, students, friends, and especially to all the staff. Like Mr. Curry, Mrs.Lamb, and Mrs.Baugher for making a great school for all the kids and helping them. I am going to love this year because I have an amazing school and AWESOME TEACHERS!!!

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to learning about the civil war. I am also very excited about learning math. Math is one of my favorite subjects. I am also excited about making new friends and having an AWESOME SCHOOLYEAR!!!!!!!

Before 5th grade started, I thought S.S. would be boring, but now I want to know more about the Civil War. Last, I am looking forward to TAG. ReplyDeleteI am very excited to enter the 5th grade. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, learning new strategies, and fun parties. I will really enjoy going to Rock Eagle and the 5th Grade Jam and visiting River Trail Middle School. This year I am thrilled to be in Miss Mastronardi's and Mr. Jennings' 5th grade class. I hope this year rocks!!!
ReplyDeleteThe most thing I am looking forward to is going to Rock Eagle. I thought I wasn't going to go because in all the years before they used to go in the second semester, because at that time I would have moved. I love the outdoors. It's fun and not like being inside all the time. I like swimming, canoeing, and I love sports, and that's what you do at Rock Eagle.
ReplyDeleteThere have been a lot of cool things that we have done so far. One is the social studies treasure hunt. I also like that we don't have much homework. That's what I like about 5th grade so far.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like best about fifth grade so far is just knowing that i am queen of the school. Then again I love my teachers and the students. I am glad where I am with my surroundings! My teachers teach me fun way so i comprehend well. I have made new friends this year. I think it will be a good year and we are off to a good start!
ReplyDelete1.Traitor: Aidan was a traitor when he joined the girls team in soccer. 2.Nauseous: I was nauseous after the roller coaster. 3.Persist: I persisted to beat my game. 4.Humiliate: Bob was humiliated when he got an F on a test. 5.Pathetic:It is pathetic when you can't run 5 feet without getting tired.
ReplyDeleteIn the end of the third book I would make JJ escape.Then I would make him find a boat. Next he would set off and land on the island.Then JJ would see Luke, Carla,Ian,and Lisa operating on Will and have a heart attack.They would get distracted and Will would bleed to death.Then a coast guard would find them. Thats how I would make the third book end.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part in Maniac Magee is when he gets a home run on John Mcnab. John was the best pitcher in little leage. He was over 100 pounds and was 12. He had a 35 strike out streak until he pitched to Maniac. Then John got annoyed and pitched a fast frog. Maniac bunted it and ran a home run. That was my favorite part of Maniac Magee.
