What has been your favorite part so far in Maniac Magee? Why is it your favorite?

My favorite part about Maniac Magee was the beggining. One reason is because it was interesting,like he escaped from his grandparents and that was pretty brave. The second reason is that I'm glad we read the Amanda Bleane part because I wrote an amazing poem about that under metaphor. Last is that,Maniac was reading his boom on the steps of the "mystery" family and had dinner with them. The kids thought it was the girls boyfriend. HA HA!!!!!FUNNY! That is all the reasons why the beggining is my favorite part.
My favorite part of the book Maniac Magee is the pither McNab. He was having a perfect game then Maniac came and crushed the record. He hit half a dozen homeruns. I also like when McNab threw a frog at Maniac Magee. He bunted the frog and got an inside the park homerun the rarest thing that could ever happen in baseball. Than McNab started chasing him. I wonder what happens next...
My favorite part so far is when Maniac hit a frog ball. I like it because it's funny when McNab thught that he couldn't be beat. But when Jeffery showed up he hit the ball. I though that it was cool that he he scored 3 home runs for the Red Socks. I could tell the McNab was pritty mad.
Mc Nab was the best pitcher in the little league, he wayed over 170 pounds and was only 12 years old, he had to bring over his birth certificate to prove he was.
Maniac was running over to a base ball stadium for the little league, Mc Nab was striking everyone left out, but a new pitcher stepped up to a plate he was a little short and scraggy (this is maniac). Mc Nab was laughing Ha! you arent even a part of either team! Then maniac went in line, got a kids hat, and wore it, so then he through the ball and instead of missing he hit it straight for mac nabs hat and it hit! He yelled get my hat! Then a bunch of people scrambled to get the hat. Then he through a few morw and most were home runs! Then he said he had to ''wizz'' and he went. Then he came back with a frog, he through it fast, but maniac bunted it and made a home run then ran of! Thats my favorite part.
My favorite part about Maniac Magee is when he meets Ammanda and tries to be friends with her. I think it is nice that she is tring to be friends with her and just tries to fit in a neighbor hood that he really shouldn't be in.It is really funny that he keeps bugging her about a book. So finally she gets him one. After that she runs to school and he runs off some where else.
My favorite part so far is when Maniac escscapes. I like it because so many things happen for example a boy named Arnold got thrown to Finsterwalls back yard and maniac saved him. Also when maniac won in the baseball game and Mcnab always wins. I also think it's funny when Maniac meets Amanda Beal and maniac thinks Amanda is running away because she’s carrying a suit case. My last one is when he has to sleep in the zoo.
My faverate part of the book in Maniac Magee.It is when Maniac hit homeruns from the best baseball player. I like it becaese ferst he was very brave of hem to do it. Second he made the ather team WEN. Therd it was a nise theng to do.
My favorite part in the book "Maniac Magee" is when he randomly strolls in to the Pickwells house for dinner. Maniac/Jeffery eats dinner without the Pickwells knowing. After Maniac ate dinner,he just walked out of the house. One of the Pickwell kids, asked another Pickwell kid"Did you know that kid?" the other one ansered."I thouhgt he was your friend?" he answered confused." "Oh" Then they saw Maniac running out of site. I thought that was really cool.
My favorite part is when McNabb won the game for his team and then Manic Magee came. McNabb had a baseball record Manic hit the first ball and hit McNabb's hat off. Next Manichit two more line drives into the out field McNabb was firous he was ready to kill Manic. McNabb pitched another and Manic hit it right over the fence, then he pitched about three more anthey were over the fence as well. McNabb had to pitch half a dozen and they were all over the fence. McNabb didnit want to put a dent in his record sohe said he had to go to the bathroom McNabb went to the lake near by he grabbed a frog and went back. McNabb pited the frog to Manic he want to hit the frog so he bunted it. Manic started to round the bags so McNabbtried to get it. The frog started to jump away so he cased it, and then Manic had an inside the park homerun the first in history.
My favorite part in Maniac Magee is when he's batting against John Mcnab. It was realy funny when John goes to pee and everybody think s he is going to make the creek rise. It was aloso realy cool when Maniac hits an inside the park home run when he bunts that frog. The funniest part was when Maniac,John,and the frog are all running to home plate. And thats my favorite part in the book.
My favorite part is when Maniac plays against McNabb. He was able to see the ball go past. It was cool that he could get 6 homeruns. It was unfair that McNabb pitched frog. Maniac still got an inside the park homerun on a frog.
My favorite part in Maniac Magee is when Maniac beats McNab. McNab is a really good little leag baseball player who is 170 lb and only 12. When McNab pitches to Maniac he keeps on hitting homeruns. Maniac bunted a frog that McNab through and still made a homerun.McNab was really mad when maniac ran away.
My favorite part is when John Mcnab kept on striking people out till he pitched a ball at Maniac. Everybody looked at the gate where they thought the ball would go. Instead the ball went straight at Mcnab. He jerked out of the way and the ball hit his cap. Mcnab said he threw a lollipop at him so the next time he threw the ball he hit a home run. Then Mcnab said he had to take a whiz and when he came back he threw him a frog and Maniac bunted the frog and ran a home run and that was my favorite part so far.
My favorite part of the story is when Manic meets Amanda Beale.Manic saw her carring her books and he asked why.She said that her books get destroyed at her house and school was the safest place for them.Then Manic asked for a book.She said no but Manic kept on begging for one.She was so annoyed that she gave him one.Ha!Ha!
My favorite part was the baseball part. Jeffey made a dozen homeruns. On the first one homerun was kinda cool but amazing. Jeffry hit Mcnab's fastball and made the first homerun. The second homerun was sweet and the ball went flying in the air. and the last homerun was incredible. Mcnad threw ultimte fast ball but it wasn't a ball, its a frog. So Jeffery bunted the frog and manged to make a homerun. At the end , Mcnab threw the ball at Jeffery and Jeffery jumped and hit the ball toword to center feild
My favorite part of Maniac Magee is when he went in to the baseball field and hit the ball really good. Mcnabb called Maniac a runt because Maniac hit three home runs. Mcnabb was getting jealous of Maniac because he was better than him, and he made more home runs than he did. After Manic made his third home run Mcnabb pretended to go to the restroom. Just when Maniac was enjoying his victory of making the three home runs, Mcnabb threw a frog at Maniac because he was mad. That was the first game that Mcnabb ever lost.
when Mcnabb had a record of never ever having anyone hit the ball when he's pitching. Then Manic Magee came to the L.L.(little league) park and hits the first ball he pitched to Magee and it hits mcnabbs hat. Magee hit all the balls he pitched after the first pitch. Then Mcnabb said he had to go to the bathroom and he went into the woods and came out with frog. Mcnabb pitch the frog to Magee, Then he bunted the frog and Mcnabb ran after the ball and the frog started to jump away when Magee ran the bases. When he got to home plate he kept running . He ran up the hill and out of the park.
My favorite part is when Manic came and ruined McNabb's baseball record.It was funny when McNabb was tring to make Manic get out.One of my favorite parts was when McNabb got very mad and started to throw thing on the ground because Manic was making hits in baseball.My last favorite part was when McNabb got a frog and threw it at Manic then the frog was runing with Manic so he can make a homerun.And then once Manic was done making a homerun he left the game.
My favorite part is when Jeffery (Maniac) runs into John McNab a 12 years old who was the size of a giant. One day John decided to line up all the red soxers and the green soxers and like he was going for the world of records he counted how many strike outs he made. Since John was a great pitcher, all the people in the red or green soxers got strike out. He counted every strike he got to 35. Then it was Jeffery’s turn. The first thing that John saw him and says “Gets out of here, this a record for little League you are not one.” Jeffery just went back and “borrow” a cap from the person after him and step back into the batters box. John started laughing and thought he was number #36 strike out. Much to everyone’s surprise Jeffery hits it and make a mark on it. John gave him a lollipop after that. John pitch more balls, Jeffery hit more home runs. After when John sort of “ cheated” Jeffery made a wild swing and he hit the ball. After that John said he need to go “nature calling” (he really is planning a way trying to make Jeffery strike out.), he came back with a frog. John throws the frog and Jeffery bunt the frog he scores another home run. John was ready to beat Jeffery up. Jeffery grab his book throw back the soxer his cap run away. John yelled behind him, “ Don’t let be catch you, you better run to somewhere far away!” That is how Jeffery broke John’s record.
My favorite part about this book so far is that Maniac Mageee became a very brave boy after his parents died. Basically he was alone. Although he lived with his aunt and uncle, he didn't get a lot of love, and affection from them because they were not a happy couple. The barely spoke to each other. My second favorite part of Maniac Magee is when Maniac meets a girl named Amanda Blean. She had a dog and a sister. They messed up all her books. Amanda's sister colored on anything she could lay her hands on. Her dog ate antyhing he saw. This part of the book was really funny! I can't wait to read more.
My favorite part of Maniac Magee is when Maniac meets Mars Bar.Mars Bar tries to take Amanda Beale's book. He pretends it's his.Mars Bar almost takes the book when an old lady shows up and makes Mars Bar give back the book.I think it is funny how Mars Bar gets in trouble.What is your favorite part?
